Legal Advocacy Workshop – Promoting Access to Justice

Sakhi Kendra organized a Legal Advocacy Workshop on 20 December 2025 at its office to support women facing violence by providing clear and effective legal guidance. The session was facilitated by a Senior Advocate, who offered free legal consultation, explained legal procedures in simple terms, and reviewed legal documents.

A total of 41 participants, including 35 new beneficiaries, actively took part in the workshop. Participants learned about legal processes, required documentation, and the steps needed to move forward in their cases. The workshop helped improve their understanding, confidence, and ability to seek justice.

This initiative strengthened access to affordable legal support, empowered survivors with knowledge, and encouraged them to spread awareness about legal rights and Sakhi Kendra’s services within their communities.
