Dr. Asha Tripathi
Dr. Asha Tripathi, a renowned social worker and educationist, has dedicated her life to empowering women and girls. Former principal of Mahila Maha Vidyalaya and a key member of Sakhi Kendra for four decades, she has championed causes like mental health, environment, and community development, earning numerous awards for her impactful service.

General Secretary
Ms. Neelam Chaturvedi
Neelam Chaturvedi, an Indian women’s rights activist, has fought against gender and caste violence since the 1970s. A founder of organizations like Mahila Manch and Sakhi Kendra, she empowers women and supports vulnerable children. Recognized by Amnesty International, she remains a leading advocate for women’s rights.

Treasurer
Prabhavati
Joining the organization on 10th July 1994, she has taken on various roles with dedication. Her contributions include developing women’s groups, raising awareness, and promoting women’s health and family planning from 1996 to 2002. She has also led youth training programs on RTE, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.

Secretary
Prachi Tripathi
Prachi Tripathi is a dedicated social activist from Kanpur, leading gender justice efforts as NAWO's Uttar Pradesh Coordinator. She also serves as Secretary of Sakhi Kendra, General Secretary of Kalakriti Shiksha Foundation, and Founder of Nishant Wellness Mantra. With over a decade of experience, she blends activism, mental health advocacy, and creativity to drive meaningful social change.

Pushpa Tiwari
With a Master's in Sociology from CSJM University, Kanpur, she has made remarkable contributions to the organization. Her courage and intelligence in handling emergencies provide a fearless environment for women in distress. She is also highly active in lobbying and advocacy with senior officials and the media on casework.

Maya Kureel
A Bachelor of Arts graduate from Kalpi College, she joined Sakhi Kendra in 1996. A Dalit woman who faced untouchability and gender bias, she now educates slum communities on Dalit rights, women and child health, and child labor prevention, focusing on awareness and capacity building.

Dr. Meera Dubey
​An award-winning educator and social worker, she taught postgraduate students for 22 years, earning recognition from the HR Minister. She coordinated programs in various fields, trained girls to defend against abuse, and supported the marginalized through social organizations, becoming a role model for students and society.
