Three comprehensive vocational training programs were successfully conducted by Sakhi Kendra across three different bastis, with secondary support from MSME, focusing on incense stick and hawan samagri making. These trainings were thoughtfully designed to enhance technical skills, promote entrepreneurship, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for women from marginalized communities.
The initiative aimed at fostering women’s empowerment, economic independence, and long-term financial stability by equipping participants with practical knowledge of production techniques, quality control, packaging, and basic market understanding. Through hands-on training and continuous guidance, the programs encouraged women to develop confidence, improve their decision-making abilities, and explore self-employment and small business opportunities.
By strengthening skills and promoting income generation, these vocational trainings have played a vital role in improving the socio-economic conditions of the participants and their families, contributing meaningfully toward community development and inclusive growth.
